MI Towne Homestead
A Michigan family and veteran-owned homestead built on hard work, homemade bread. and just enough chocolate chip cookies to keep things sweet.
MI Towne Homestead began with a simple desire - to slow down, return to the basics, and build something meaningful for our family and community.
.
We’re a husband and wife raising two wild-hearted, sunshine-loving little ones who have grown up with flour on their cheeks, dirt under their nails, and big dreams rooted deep in small-town soil. Our days are filled with bubbling sourdough starters, sewing projects spread across the table, garden harvests tucked into mason jars, and chickens clucking somewhere in the background.
This homestead isn’t perfect — it’s lived in. It’s laughter in the kitchen, kids sneaking bites of warm bread, Brandon fixing what I’ve already redesigned three times, and learning to love the quirks and imperfections along the way.
We believe in slow mornings and homemade over store-bought. We believe in teaching our children where their food comes from and showing them that building something meaningful takes time. We believe in community — in showing up to our local markets, hugging familiar faces, and sharing what we’ve made with our own two hands.
Every bagel, every loaf, every sewn piece, every small creation carries a bit of our story. This isn’t just a business.
It’s our family’s way of life.
We are growing roots here in Michigan.
We are raising children and sourdough at the same time.
We are learning, stretching, and building something lasting.
